Melissa Scheffler serves as Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, North America Personal Risk Services. She has executive operating responsibility for the personal lines property and casualty insurance business that serves affluent and high net worth clients in the U.S. and Canada. Her responsibilities encompass strategy, production, product development and management, and P&L performance.
Melissa began her career at Chubb in the Personal Risk Services division in 1994 and went on to hold several underwriting, marketing, sales and management positions throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and New York regions. In 2006, she took on the role of New Jersey Marketing Manager within Field Operations. With nearly two decades of experience in Field Operations, Melissa held a variety of positions including Pittsburgh Branch Manager, Mid-Atlantic Regional COO and Mid-Atlantic Regional Executive Officer. She rejoined PRS in 2024, as Chief Operating Officer of North America.
Melissa is a graduate of Colgate University, with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish. She received her MBA from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.
